Quality Assurance for Better Outcomes

Dear Parents,

As part of our ongoing commitment to progress and development, I want to share how quality assurance plays a vital role in shaping the future of our school and enhancing outcomes for every child. Quality assurance (QA) refers to the systems and processes we use to monitor, evaluate, and improve teaching, learning, and overall school performance. This includes lesson observations, curriculum reviews, pupil progress tracking, and feedback from staff, pupil voice and feedback from parents. These processes, which are calendared throughout the year, help us to identify what is working well and where we can grow.

Why does this matter? Our approach to quality assurance is not just about maintaining standards, it is about raising them and setting ambitious objectives for us all to strive towards. It allows us to make research informed decisions, set meaningful goals, and take strategic steps that directly impact your child’s learning experience. Whether it’s refining our teaching approaches, enhancing our curriculum, or providing targeted support, every improvement is designed to help children flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are currently in the throes of our QA processes here in school and working with leaders at all levels to support action planning for the year ahead. We believe that alongside our vision for the school, these QA processes create a culture of continuous improvement where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

Finally, on a separate note about the upcoming Typhoon announcement to be determined by The EDB, I hope that families stay safe, and I encourage you to check-in on friends and family.
