A Hands-On Introduction to the IB MYP

Curious about how the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) nurtures creative, critical thinkers beyond traditional education pathways?

Join us for Designing Futures, an interactive session where parents step into the shoes of an MYP student. Through a hands-on design challenge, you’ll explore the IB’s unique approach to learning - one that values inquiry, reflection, and real-world problem solving. Guided by the MYP Design cycle, you’ll create and 3D print your own custom keychain while discovering how the MYP fosters skills like resilience, collaboration, and innovation.

This session highlights how the MYP supports students in becoming Inquirers, Thinkers, and Risk-takers -key attributes of the IB Learner Profile - and offers a fresh perspective on education that complements and expands upon the Irish national system.
